Blanche, caractérisée par ses deux points noirs sur la côte. Largement répartie dans toute l'Europe, jusqu'en Sibérie et au Japon. Présente principalement en France centrale et septentrionale, mais aussi  dans les Alpes du Sud. Elle fréquente les bois clairs de feuillus où elle est rarement abondante. Le papillon est actif le jour et vient à la lumière. Période de vol AVRIL A JUILLET
